Join the Fight Against Thalassaemia.
Give Hope. Save Lives.
Thalassaemia is not just a medical condition, it’s a lifelong battle that many children and families around the world face every single day. It is a serious inherited blood disorder that impairs the body’s ability to produce healthy red blood cells and hemoglobin, leading to severe anemia, fatigue, organ damage, and life-threatening complications.
There are two main types of this disease: Alpha (α) and Beta (β) Thalassaemia, each with varying degrees of severity. In its most critical form,Transfusion-Dependent Thalassaemia (TDT) patients, often young children, must undergo regular blood transfusions every few weeks just to survive. Without access to this life-saving care, many children with Thalassaemia Major may not live beyond early childhood.
At Hands of Hope, we are committed to standing with Thalassaemia warriors and their families. Through:
- Access to life-saving transfusions and medications
- Community education and genetic awareness programs
- Emotional support and advocacy for better care
Be their lifeline. Be their hope.
Join us in our mission to fight Thalassaemia and ensure that no child is left behind.
