Water Crisis in Pakistan:

Pakistan, a land with rivers, still lacks to provide clean water in rural areas. People of Pakistan, even in cities, are also facing a severe water crisis. They don’t have access to water plants that provide clean and pure water. The majority of the people living in Pakistan rely on contaminated sources. People of Pakistan used this impure water for cooking and drinking, risking their lives

The major cause of sickness and death in Pakistan is due to dirty water and the diseases associated with it. The water they use for cooking and drinking is contaminated, an open threat to life. Each year, thousands of children lose their lives because of the preventable water-borne disease. Drinking and using impure water is not just about health, it’s an injustice to humanity. The consequences of this water crisis are terrible, highly affecting children and women. When a child gets sick, he will miss school, affecting his progress. A mother spends hours finding water from a distant source that doesn’t allow her to care for her family. Every glass of the impure water contributes to the unbreakable cycle of poverty.

Our NGO Goals 2025 Pakistan:

Hands of Hope has made a comprehensive strategy to identify the main cause of this crisis. Our NGO’s goal for 2025 in Pakistan is to achieve a lasting impact rather than just providing water.

Strategy 01: Water Infrastructure and Sustainability

Our main initiative is to provide access to clean drinking water. It requires a strategy for the specific needs of the community in rural areas. Our goal is to install a water plant    and

Our primary objective is to dramatically increase access to safe, clean drinking water. This involves a multi-pronged approach tailored to the specific needs of each community. We will be building new deep-bore wells and installing community-based water filtration systems in villages where the need is most urgent. We will not simply build and leave; our focus is on sustainability. We will train and empower local community members to manage and maintain these systems, ensuring they remain operational for years to come. By the end of 2025, our goal is to provide clean water access to an additional 25,000 individuals, dramatically reducing their risk of waterborne illnesses.

We are also prioritizing the use of climate-resilient and nature-based solutions, such as rainwater harvesting and solar-powered pump systems, to ensure that our projects are built to last in the face of a changing climate. This forward-thinking approach is a key part of our strategy to provide lasting solutions.
